چکیده

This study aims to determine the types and relations of meaning contained in QS al-'Alaq. thesis uses a qualitative method that is focused on library research. research multidisciplinary approach seeks discuss examine objects from several disciplines or relate them different disciplines, namely semantic studies, education. The collected data then processed using methods, analysis technique interpretation used descriptive-semantic analysis, examining each word as an interpretive interpret verses QS. al-'Alaq based theories semantics general. results showed al-'Alaq, consisted meanings, namely: referential meaning, basic dictionary (al-ma'na al-asasi wa al-mu'jami), figurative al-majazi), denotative al-haqiqi). Meanwhile, relation between words pronunciation Qur'an with its occurs four kinds (meaning relationships), Synonym relationships (al-taraduf), Polysemy (ta'addud al-ma'na), concept hyponymy hypernymy (al-Isytimal).
